This policy explains how Wedding Crossword collects and uses information when you use Wedding Crossword.
1. Information we collect
We only collect information that helps us create your crossword, process orders, and provide support.
Account and authentication
When you sign in with Google, Supabase provides us with your email address and basic profile details needed to create your account.
Order and crossword details
We store order details and the content you enter, such as couple names, wedding date, puzzle clues, answers, and any custom background image you upload.
Payments
We store payment status, Creem checkout IDs, and order IDs so we can confirm your purchase and enable downloads. Payment card details are handled directly by Creem and are not stored on our servers.
Support requests
If you contact us, we collect your email address, message, selected topic, page URL, and user agent so we can respond and troubleshoot.
Usage and security data
We log IP address and user-agent data when you download files to prevent abuse and keep accurate download counts. We also use Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated spam on the contact form.
2. How we use information
- Create and deliver your crossword PDFs and downloads.
- Authenticate your account and keep sessions secure.
- Process orders, verify payments, and manage download access.
- Respond to support requests and communicate about your order.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access.
- Improve reliability and fix bugs.
3. Third-party services
We use a small set of trusted providers to run the service:
- Supabase for authentication, database storage, and file storage.
- Creem for secure payment processing and checkout sessions.
- Resend for sending support emails.
- Cloudflare Turnstile for spam and abuse protection on contact forms.
- Google Analytics (only if you accept analytics cookies) to measure website usage and improve the product.
These providers process information on our behalf. Data may be processed in regions where they operate.
5. Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain your downloads, and meet legal or accounting requirements. You can request deletion, and we will remove data that is no longer required for those purposes.
6. Your choices and rights
- Access or update your account information by signing in.
- Request a copy or deletion of your data by contacting us.
- Opt out of non-essential emails by letting us know (we only send service-related emails today).
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
